T20 HANDOVER EVENT –“From Italy to Indonesia: T20 Contribution to G20 Recovery Initiatives”
we are glad to invite you to the T20 Handover event “From Italy to Indonesia: T20 Contribution to G20 Recovery Initiatives”, to be held in a virtual format on next November 30th, at 1.00 pm CET.
The Covid-19 emergency is putting to the test the ability of the G20 and other multilateral efforts to deliver on key global challenges: from climate change to digital transition, from social cohesion to growth and financial stability. As the Italian G20 presidency passes the torch to the Indonesian presidency, under the G20 Indonesia theme of “Recover Together, Recover Stronger” which reflect the spirit of collective and inclusive global recovery, the leading think tanks worldwide will come together once more under the Think20 (T20).
On the occasion of this handover event, some key questions will drive the debate: what are the lessons learned from past G20/T20 presidencies? What are the challenges and priorities ahead of the Indonesian presidency? And what to expect in (another) crucial year for multilateralism?
